Editorial Policy
Last updated: February 15, 2026
This editorial policy explains how we research, write, and maintain the guides on Current Calculator. Our goal is content that is accurate, clear, and genuinely useful to anyone learning about electric current.
Accuracy First
Every formula and worked example is checked against standard electrical references and the same equations used in the calculator itself. Where a value is an estimate or a rule of thumb, we say so plainly rather than presenting it as exact.
Plain Language
We write for a broad audience, from students meeting Ohm's law for the first time to trades who want a quick refresher. We favour clear explanations and concrete examples over jargon, and we define technical terms the first time they appear.
Independence
Our guides are written to help readers understand current, not to promote a product. When we mention tools, standards, or methods, it is for genuine educational value.
Corrections
If we get something wrong, we fix it. Readers can report an error through our contact page, and we review every report. Significant corrections are reflected in the content and, where relevant, noted.
Review and Updates
Electrical fundamentals rarely change, but best practice and clarity always can improve. We revisit articles periodically to keep examples current, links working, and explanations sharp.
Authorship
Articles are produced by the Current Calculator team, who work with electrical fundamentals daily. Our shared aim is a resource we would trust ourselves.
